June 30, 2008 Prime Meridian Resources Elects Directors And Approves Stock Option Plan
Calgary, AB (June 30, 2008) Prime Meridian Resources Corp (TSX.V, PMR:FRA. DYD."Prime Meridian") is pleased to report the election by the Shareholders of William Anderson, Mark Fields, Alice D. Gardner, J. Frank Joklik, Paul Ramsay and John Boreta as Directors to hold office until the next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Michael J. Senn did not stand for election.
Also, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Chartered Accountants, were appointed as Auditors of the Company until the next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The Shareholders voted to approve the 10% Rolling Stock Option Plan as required annually by the TSX Venture Exchange.
Following the Annual General Meeting the Board elected John Boreta to act as interim President and CEO. The Company will continue to search for a permanent replacement to fill the recently vacated position. The Board has also elected as officers of the company, Barrett R. Hanson, Vice President, Secretary; Dennis Sokoloski, Vice President and Robert M. Cowper, CFO, Treasurer.
