Prime Meridian Resources Appoints John F. Gartner As Vp Exploration

| | Calgary, AB (August 5, 2008) Prime Meridian Resources Corp (TSX.V, PMR:FRA. DYD."Prime Meridian") is pleased to announce the appointment of John F. Gartner as the new Vice President, Exploration effective 1st August 2008.
Mr. Gartner has over 25 years experience in the mining industry and has worked throughout Canada and USA. After completion of his Bachelor of Science at Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec John obtained his Master of Science at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec. Throughout his career John has been focussed on grass roots exploration with companies such as Noranda Exploration Ltd., Kennecott Canada Inc. and Kennecott Exploration Company Ltd. For the previous year John has been a valuable part of the Prime Meridian team as the Project Manager.
